I think this is a Reddish Egret white morph juvenile - a lifer for me. I took this last Sunday while vacationing at Fort Myers Beach, FL. It was pretty cool watching him dance around in the surf.
Terrific behavior you captured here. Your whites look good. It appears as though your horizon is off as it looks as though your egret is traveling uphill. An easy fix as long as you have enough canvas.
Glad you were able to tick another lifer off your list Allen and the whites do look good. I agree with Marina about the horizon though and adding canvas if you haven't got it, is an easy enough task.
Well exposed whites and excellent behavior. Very nice capture of this immature REEG
I agree with the over-correction. Allan - look at the water in the foreground - does it appear to be sloping to the right? Use PS and run a ruler across the ripples at the bird's feet then straighten - the ripple is easier to judge than the receding beach or the water behind the bird which is further on the right than the left....something like this, with the opened white areas resulting from rotation filled with content aware fill (you'll have more image if you go back to the raw and rotate)
