This little Sand hill Crane is only about 2 days old. I watched mom struggle with feeding her baby this dragonfly and he finally got it down. Yummm! Canon 1DMIV 500mm f4 ISO 640 f8@1/800 cropped 50%

What a cutie pie. The dragonfly is a huge plus. I like seeing him in all the grasses. I would crop a tad from the right.

I like the low angle, sharpness, catch, exposure, details, setting and composition. I would clone out the dark stick coming out of the chicks back but it is fine as presented. Very well done Cheryl!

Sweet in all regards, and unique...I don't think I've ever seen one with a dragon fly before.

Very nice, love the down the barrel look, the grass help frame the subject well, and all the OOF clutter grass give the sense of protection to the chick. The dragon fly is a big bonus indeed.

Very cute Cheryl, I do rather like the natural habitat and of course the lunch time snack...repost is better with the spot reduced on the chest

I like your original crop better, cropping off the right making it too centered. ;) Nice shot!!!
