Here's a Rock Wren with an identity crisis -- singing from a bit of sagebrush instead of a rock pile

Rock Wrens are the best wrens. Great IQ and sharpness, fierce pose. I like the uniformity of the color palette, too. Maybe a little more room on the bottom? I would be tempted to clone out that long oof twig near the far foot, as well.

Nice pose and HA Don. Clear, sharp, well exposed and a beautiful smooth BG set this shot off perfectly. Well done,

Awesome image, from the composition, alert pose, and details. I agree with a tad more room below as the lowest part of the perch is a bit close to the edge. Very well done...

Hi Don, love the light in this, together with 'proud' pose. Good DOF on the wren, and that BG is so sweet. Another vote for a little more room below.

Excellent image Don! I like the pose, HA, light and complimentary BG. Good suggestions above to make this image even better.

Exceptional image Don, stunning light and sharpness and really like the smooth and subtle colored backdrop with that slight difference in tonings on the to, a great backdrop for this particular bird. The perch is extra nice and I personally like the crop/composition they way it is

Very nice Don, a very good look at this species.
With your PP skills, I think cloning out the oof branch would look nice.
