Default Great Egrets Building Their Nest

I spent some time last weekend at the rookery at Gatorland outside of Orlando, FL. I captured a series of images of two great egrets building their nest. In this image, the male had just returned to the nest with nesting materials. Although I have a few other images in which the female is at the level of the male (which I'll post in the next few days), I was intrigued by this one where the male is literally towering over the female. Let me know what you think about this composition. Critiques about all other aspects of the image are also welcome.

Wendy, this is a beautiful image and the techs look good, however, for me personally, I'm wanting to see more of the interaction and at least the male's legs. As presented, I don't get the sense of the male towering over the female. It's sort of like getting only half the story. I do like the framing of the trees/plant. I'm looking forward to your others!

The one thing I'd do is remove that limb that is in front of the female.

I see you were at 121mm. Probably zooming out a little further would've
been more beneficial to get more of the body of the female.
