    Taken this morning,had a nice pose about it,hence the title.cannon500mm IS L F4,700mm FL,low to ground tripod,7D,cropped sharpened,touch of exposure adjustment,f5.6,1/320s,iso400,manual exposure.

    nice eye, wondeful feather details

    I might consider cleaning up the bg on the lower left and making it the same as the rest

    Nice pose is right. Good HA and the bird is well exposed and very sharp. Stands out from the BG well. Nice work.

    Chris you really nailed this one - great exposure and detail and a classic pose, love the setting too.

    Wonderful shot Christopher! God title as well because you nailed a great pose. Great feather detail and exposure. Like the light and the angle it's coming from. Also like the BG. The lower left doesn't bother me and if anything I actually prefer it.

    Hi Chris, you certainly did capture a great pose, and good DOF on him too. The feather detail is nice and sharp, and I like Vishal's version on the BG. I feel if you maybe toned down the BG in your OP, it could work too.

    Perfect head angle, nice light, and I love the perch...I do wish there was more separation between it and the rump. I'm OK with the BG.
