The trumpeters were in rare form yesterday, really putting on a show. This fellow had been displaying with wings spread out on the surface of the water, and then did this water treading display to let everyone know who was boss.

Beautiful subject, I'm glad you left in the splash right at the eye--to me it grabs attention in a positive way since you can clearly see the bird's eye. Very sharp, BG and water look good to me. I might get rid of the blue cast on the shadow and water.

Hi Randy, I like the low perspective, and a good bathing behaviour captured with all the flying droplets. The whites look good from here, the swan is sharp, and the pano works well.

All that splash and the head/eye is still clearly visible, well timed Randy. Very sharp considering the movement of the bird and the exposure on the whites is excellent. All sits in the frame well and the wide aspect makes for a good composition.

Nice bath shot Randy and nice choice of SS to freeze it all.
The BG goes very well with the Swan.

I love this shot! I agree the splash by the eye is just right. It adds interest. I like the blue cast, as well. The warm tones contrast with the blue, adding vibrant energy. My opinion only.

Good job on the ss to capture the action. Exposure looks great and the raised pose is very aggressive looking. Dont get in his way! Well done.
