    What a lovely image, great low angle and pose. I don't know how to do this in processing, but the very tip of the bill gets lost in the water and I'd like to be able to see it. Maybe someone else can comment.

    Very nice Karl, looks like you got wet!
    I think just a tad more contrast would pop it a bit and show the beak tip, Grace is referring to.

    Very nice picture in this clear water, beautiful bird as well. Think it is a bit to bright too, a bit of contrast will do well.

    I darkened the mid range of the duck and used linear burn and then reduced the exposere on the highlights of the beak, including the tip, as suggested by Grace.
    I hope you like it better now.
