    Default Banking Lapwing

Freezing here in the UK after a very warm week, so wasn't out for long. I decided on going for some flight shots of Lapwings and these were really fast and difficult to keep in the frame whilst they displayed over the lake. Hope you like it and comments always appreciated.

Hi Simon, NIce banking turn with the underwing exposed I do wish you had a better HA and the dividing line between the water and land did not intersect the bird.

Thanks everyone for the comments and feedback. It is a shame about the background disecting the bird but I was just glad to get this shot with the way they were zipping around but I do see your point. Hopefully I'll go back soon and try for some better images.

    thanks again.

Caught with a nice wing position and the background is well OOF. Would have liked the head angle to have been better but nice shot all the same Simon.
