This is a little bolder image than my last Spoonbill.
I like the contrast of age, color and attitudes.

    James:

To quote a famous Florida Capt., "that bird is a stud". Vibrant colors, drop, great eye.

I could also see this cropped as a horizontal if you have the room, because the reflection is not strong. (Although the blocks of reflection are rather interesting)

    The BG is perfect.

    Cheers

Very colorful and sharp as a tack. Great eye contact and the four water drops are well defined. The three reflections are unique. Excellent shooting angle.

James, love the dreamy colors of the BG and the water with no obvious border between heavens and earth. The spoonbill is tack sharp, love the texture of the bill. Sweet light. The sky is also interesting with some cloud. The only thing I would suggest is whether you want to emphasize the sky or the reflection. Seemed like you wanted to include both here so it is sort of 50/50 in the middle of the frame. Pushing the bird up or down in the frame may be other options. Loi

Your low shooting angle works so well here creating that wonderful dreamy dof. Great reflection and love the water drops. After a few looks I am thinking you could use a teeny CW rotation . Always nice to join you and friends out on the water.

The water drops, unique reflection and color palate make this one work well. Would not have chosen this comp but it works.

Hearing good things about your photo trips out to Alafia and Dot-Dash. Hope to join you again soon!

Great colors, pose and the water drop add to this one. The crop works for me too, but would try it without so much room below as well.
