    Grahame:

Strong graphic element here from the BG, impressive eye.

Well exposed. It could stand a bit of noise reduction on the background. The feather detail is a bit smooth/soft in some areas, particularly noticeable in the crown.

Not sure what caused the dark area right lower corner, but a bit distracting.

    Cheers

Certainty up close to this bird, lovely eye and fine detail, needs a dslightly tighter crop to remove the black bits on the bottom right though

Lovely portrait with gorgeous colors but I am seeing quite a bit of noise in the BG and your bird appears soft to my eyes.

Thank you so much for your comments 1st the black bottom right part of branch that i did not crop out enough.
2nd noise a real problem for me with not the best eye sight however it has woken me up to do better.
3rd top of head have tried ti increase detail but nothing much seams to work much of the problem mostlikley hand held camera shake.
Thank you all so much at least i can improve by watching detail
