    Default Hyper Kitty - Leeloo

Hi guys. I'm in a minimalist mood lately... There is an application for Mac computers (available in the App Store) called "Image Tricks Pro". It costs $9.99. It does an amazing amount of image manipulation plus frames, borders, and a lot more. It uses the Mac OSX core filters so it runs incredibly fast. Anyway, here is a shot of my cat Leeloo that I ran through the zoom blur filter. I love what it did to the image, retaining the essence of a cat face but leaving nothing in the image that actually looks like part of a cat.

What a wonderful effect! And very nicely applied. The colors are nicely understated, and I really like the way they fade into the background. Something as abstract as this can be seen in different ways, and I think that's always a good thing. Knowing that it's a cat, I see the nose as the closest part of the image. However, had you said it was a flower, I'd have seen the nose as the deepest part of the flower with everything else receding toward it.

I tend to remember something like this in a Star Trek episode, nicely done, just enough detail to recognize the cat, love it...OOTB for sure

AHHH!!! It's the attack of the evil kitty! Sorry, couldn't resist. I love how despite everything is all blurred, it still registers as a cat face. Very nice!
