I feel like I am going out on a limb here as this is not technically the best. but I hope it will make a few smiles. This shot was taken during a evening out on the pontoon boat with friends. The 500mm stayed at home that night and I used a 80-200. The light was ok, but I loved the clouds. Here is a pretty heavy crop of two young wood storks. Several surrounding birds were cropped out. Some of the whites are blown, but it was shot from a ladder on a boat.

That is two ugly toddlers! I think the image would benefit dramatically if you could darken the clouds, that would make the chicks pop more I think. Maybe darken the whole image, see how that looks.

I liked Jacks suggestion so I did a layer with levels adjustment, multiply at 18% for the whole image. What do you think?

Thanks Jim, I may need to darken it even more.

Very nice image Robert. I think you could darken it more as well.

I'm really taken by the subtle colours of these guys. The light is perfect. The whites look good to me.
