A native Silvereye feeding on introduced Firethorn Pyracantha berries. Down here Pyracantha is an environmental weed, spreading into threatened native woodland communities, in part helped by our little friend here.

Hi Simon Lovely setting for the little guy Love the feeding pose and all well exposed and sharp Would suggest cropping some form the bottom to lower the bird in frame also removing some of the oof berries. The rest looks very nice and complementing

Not sure of the color since I've never seen them? Light seem to be getting harsh form all the reflections Excellent !!!

Beautiful bird and surroundings. Love the feeding. Agree about taking a little off the bottom

    Hi Simon,
Agree with above comments. I was going to suggest that the bright spot by the beak be remove if you are comfortable with that sort of thing........but I find that it makes the lower bill stand out.......maybe a slight tone down???......but the one near the back of the bird should definitely go. Love the action and the environment.even if it is a weed.
