    Default Chobe Storm Cell

One of the most intense African storms I've ever seen. Looking back I don't know how I was able to stand there for so long (I was taking timelapse stills).

Taken on the Caprivi (Namibian) shore of the Chobe river. The land you see is the Chobe National Park in Botswana.

I will be away with family and friends for a few days - keep the posts coming!

Fantastic sky and cloud detail Morkel, love the B&W conversion as well. Chobe is a fantastic place, hoping to visit the area later this year

Intense storm front brewing here Morkel and the conversion adds dramatic effect. Nicely done.

Very Ominous, Morkel and perfect for B & W.
As with Steve's Eiger photo, it must be my new 27 in. Mac Monitor because again, I am seeing noise and there should not be.

    Thanks folks.
Dan - I used some grain in the conversion, no noise
