    Well exposed, sharp, great subject, complementary background, nice perch with excellence frame placement of your subject.

    Such a wonderful bird , just like the bee eaters
    i love the image has all the things right , the slight turn back and the complete bird in focus makes it the top one for me

    Thanks everyone for the kind comments. I was very happy to get this image considering this was not a set up. I will process some more of this Costa Rican beauty soon.

    Absolutely superb image with great exposure,lovely colors,details,very nice pose,perch and great composition.
    Love the long tail feathers and repetition of blue black feathers.

    Hi Jim, super pose, which in turn is showing off all his colours. I do like that tail, and Im sure this fellow would look great in flight. Sweet BG too.
