    After a brief threatening posture and a bluff charge, this one decided it was time for a quick spruce up.

    Sounds like he really put on a show for you! I like the dynamic pose and water droplets splayed everywhere. I might try to blur or darken the far bank a little bit.

    What great action/behavior you captured here. BG doesn't bother me. I would crop a little tighter to better focus on the behavior/bird. Try cropping from left, top and a little from the right.

    You surely have made a great portfolio of these guys, i love all these image , this one if wonderful too, i second Marina's suggestion of cropping it closer

    Nice action and colours, and good details. Cropping closer is a good option, and the image looks like it needs a bit of CCW rotation to me.

    Hi Jon, good low angle of capture, and I do like the behaviour with the flying droplets. Well exposed, sharp where it counts, and well separated from the far BG.
