    The discussion in my last post has me second guessing what I thought was a tree swallow in these shots. What do you think? I'm stuck between female Tree Swallow and Bank Swallow

    Hi Joe- So these are Tree Swallows, and hey, they're on a tree! Note the clear white upper breast of the left hand bird. A Bank Swallow would show a dark band at about the height of the bend in the wing (hand).

    Also, Bank Swallows do not have bluish feathers on their upperparts as your bird does.
