Grunged Truck

Hi All, here is an old truck that I pass on my way to Ontario's Tiny Marsh. I decided to grunge it up a bit with Topaz Adjust 5...I think I used the Detail Strong preset and then used a heavy hand with the slider adjustments.

This is very nicely composed, and I like the way the colors work together. The tires contribute a double whammy. Their circular shape contrasts with all the vertical and horizontal lines, and -- along with the dark spots at the top of the siding -- they provide another horizontal that frames the top and bottom of the image.

Hi, Andrew, my first thought was "I love all the tires!". They add a lot to the design of the image. I like the olive green color on the door that repeats itself on the grill and tree trunk.

Hi Andrew, I think the extreme grunge processing looks great on this old truck. I don't know why old trucks lend themselves so well to this kind of treatment, but they do! Love the comp and elements as mentioned by Dennis. Very nice overall!

The turquoise treatment of the bkgd really sets this image up. I can hardly believe those tires were just sitting there, creating the perfect foreground. Very well seen and grunged!

Really like this shot for it's composition but also the post processing. It adds that old, rusty, "krinkly" quality to it.

How come I never see any of these old trucks over this way. Love the effect, horizontal and vertical lines, colors...super job.

Paul come on over to Tiny Marsh with me one day and I'll take you to this wreck. I will be up at the cottage on the May long weekend for sure, not exactly sure about the other weekends as of yet.
