    Default Osprey

I went out yesterday to check on the Osprey nests closeby.
We have two active nests along a fairly busy highway and one along a sideroad.
I was watching one and noticed that the lady who was sitting on the nest, started calling.
I looked up and there was an arial fight going on close to the nest.
This is the reason why this guy is eyeing the intruder above.
I could not fit both of them in the frame. When I did they were too far.
    Thanks for looking.

I like the different pose with open wings and tail. Love the head turn and space on top, nicely done Karl.

Hi Karl, a dramatic inflight pose here, and well timed to get the head turn. As your 'active nests' are close by, Im sure you are going to be turning out more of these images.

Great view of the topside with the right amount of head turn. They've just begun nesting out in Oregon. Hope to see more of yours posted.
