Hi Allen, great 3D effect in this, and the BE is well exposed. He is obviously gliding/soaring, but a better wing position would have been first prize. The clouds add a lot to the sky BG.

Hi Allen, perfect exposure of both the dark and white feathers. The cloud enhances the image. I wish for a better wing position so that we can see more.

Very nice capture, Allen. Exposure looks spot on. Love that little head turn the eagle did just for you. The clouds in the BG work very nicely to enhance your image. I think I am wishing for a little more space on the right for this particular composition. If it were mine, I think I would try a new composition which didn't place the eagle smack in the middle of the frame. A pano would also work very nicely with this flight pose.

The blu sky with the white clouds is an excellent backgrund for this flight.

Well I'm firmly convinced that the American Bald Eagle is the most photogenic bird on this planet....the word " divine " doesn't do them justice.

Stunning color and light, the head and eye is so very sharp and well handled. Myself I feel the dorsal shot and wing position is wonderful, with just enough light and detail showing through in the darker plumage. Bluesky and puffy clouds are definitely the icing on the cake

I'm in two minds about the crop, yes I like the lovely detail so glad it fills the frame fully, but could also see this with a bit more space all round

Wanting the viewer to enjoy the detail pushed me to crop as I did, so few of my images have perfect exposure and focus. I really wanted the top of the cloud in the crop, but for the forum I thought the body detail should rule the crop. That's one of the things I find quite challenging posting here, the size is limited so one must give careful thought to what it is in a particular frame that will make the most "complete" image. Of course there is plenty of room for subjective opinions, and I appreciate all of them.... thanks for looking and commenting. allen
