I have a variety of images taken off of a vendors website. I want to be able to play these images on my camera (either my Canon 50D or my Canon Powershot SD1000). I have renamed the files to match the nomenclature used by my cameras. I upload the images to the CF card or the SD card and put the card back in the camera. When trying to playback the images I get errors like "Incompatible JPEG" or "Cannot play back image" (which is pretty much what I expected). Is there anyway I can accomplish what I'm trying to do. I suppose if I had to, I could take a picture of the computer screen of each image, but that would be pretty time consuming. Does anyone have any thoughts?
Hi Eric- I did some tests and it appears that the camera is expecting a certain number of pixels in the image and if it's not "native" it doesn't get displayed.
