Warring Spoonbills

I took hundreds of photos of spoonbills and egrets today at High Island, Texas. The birds are packed in so tightly in the huge rookery there that were many squabbles over territory. I was fascinated with this battle, especially the contrast between the beautiful color of these birds and the aggressive poses.
