This is a composite. The Great Horned Owl is one of those education birds that cannot be set free but is a wonderful public relations exhibit that never fails to draw interest. I used Nik Viveza to brighten the eyes. I think I used buz sim on the bird, but neglected to add it to my processing notes. The effect was erased from the eyes. There is a slight fractalius effect on the black border, so it would not be so stark and to match the dark edges to the disc on the owl's face.

Nancy, this is precious, a wonderful creation. I like the change in the background colors and your change to the borders illustrates great attention to detail. I'll probably go into a trance from looking at this. If nothing appears from me in OOTB over the next few days, snap your fingers and wake me up.

Very cool Nancy, I like! This could definitely be useful for relaxation and sleep inducement. I don't know if you intended it, but the bottom image is slightly wider than the other two.

Kerry, I noticed the bottom image was a bit wider only when I was done. Too sleepy to do anything more about it . Easy fix and thanks for reminding me.
