This is another Indian bird species for you. This is juvenile and has more dark brown color than adult.
Imaged in March, 2013, a place about 400kms from Pune.

    ISO: 400, 1/1250, F: 5.6.Evaluating metering. Exposure Bias: +0.3. 550D, 400mm.

Thanks for viewing and appreciation. C & C are highly appreciated.
    Kind Regards.

Another new species for me. Great IQ & light. Just wish for a little more head turn. TFS

Nice little bird, killer BG and good light. I would suggest to tone down the white ground a tad.

Nice feather detail, agree with the others on toning down the white ground and a beeter head angle would be nice.

Great image, I'd also say head angle'd slightly more to the camera or straight on would have worked a tad better.

Stunning detail Satish and what a sweet looking little bird, his erect posture is rather nice, nice earthy toned backdrop, the perching area is not as nice as one could hope for....birds just dont get it hehehe

The exposure has really brought out the feather details, the bg is just the right color, wish for a different perch but this is still very nice.
