    I'm not usually a fan of square crops and although the bird forms a diagonal through the frame, I wish for more space on the right. That's a personal preference though. The bird looks well exposed and I like the open beak. The clouds also are a plus.

    Randy,

    I have shoot there many many times, love that place. I am torn,..part of me loves the crop,.part of me finds it tight; let's see what other say. Consider using a better beamer flash to lighten the bottom side. I used this flash extender several times to add a bit of fill flash to BIF images. The shot has a dreamy look, nice exposure and I made a connection with it right away,..keep em coming.

    thanks Jeannean and thanks for the feedback.....i had the space and could have extended the canvas easily but i was also torn because of that wing spread.....it's like the bird just fit in that box
