    First post for a while.

Things are very different now here in the Portuguese countryside as the heat of summer begins to build.
    The flowers are incredible.
This little chap seemed to be unconcerned as I drove past.

    Hi,

Cute indeed, but a bit under-exposed. A more natural perch would have been nice, but you get what you get. Is the catchlight natural? Any idea what it is (Stonechat?).

Ooops yes it is a young Stonechat, hanging on in quite a stiff breeze.
    Catch light is natural

hehehehe,.....yep, sure is cute. Liking a lot the posture with this one and fine detail is excellent. dof is well handled as the bird is quite sharp front to back, catchlight in the eye is appealing too....it does look a little grainy though I think

Hi Richard, the angle of capture has turned out well, and agree the image seems a touch underexposed. There is an area around the legs where you miseed some NR.

Nice bird, pose, and light. I find it well exposed.
