    last week, northern california. i need to figure out how to fix the wing tip.

    nikon d3, 70-200/2.8 + 1.7X, 1/1600 @ f/5.6, ISO 400.

    Hi Phil It is fixable Just need Robert's CD Will be a fun project !!!


    I like the visible eye between the branches and good looking bird in full breeding plumage. Light seemed to be coming from the upper left causing the shadow across the body. Did manage a good wing position and detail under the wing !!!

    Good action, very sharp, and soft light. I like the big stick and the detail in the wing feathers. The bird is angled slightly toward you which is a plus. However, as presented, the clipped wing tips are an image killer for me. Good luck with fixing them. You will have a very nice image if you do. :)
