What a cool bird! Beautiful photo all around and I can't imagine improving on it.

One of my favorite birds of Costa Rica! I like the clean perch, BG, and sharpness. I think a little fill flash would have helped brighten your subject; as presented the bird looks a little dark relative to the BG.

Lovely subject and super details, colors and sharpness. Juan Carlos. Wish for a little more space above.

Stunning bird and nicely captured Juan, great posture and all fits in the vertical frame nicely, liking very much the dappled backdrop....perhaps a little more light or brightness tweak on the bird itself

Beautiful capture of a great looking bird. I agree on some fill flash would have made this good shot even better. Nice work and I like the comp too.

Agree with a bit more space and it appears that you used filled flash. Nice looking bird.

No fill flash for this one amigo. The tiny catch light is the setting sun. Thanks for your input buddy!

Many thanks every one! I did not used fill flash and I agree that I should have use it. This is the full frame so I would have to add canvas on top, not a big deal but I guess it would improve the image.
I will have to give this one another try.
