I understand that Narcissus and Daffodil are basically the same, but I think of this version as Narcissus. I'm enjoying the many varieties of Daffodils growing in my garden.
Taken indoors using natural light and 105mm macro lens.
Processed in Elements 10: Two textures, one by Sienna62 , and the other "Sunkissed" by Kim Klassen.

Beautifully done, Anita. You came up with a wonderful combination of textures for this image, and the composition is superb. As I look at the house across the street, there's a dusting of snow on the roof. Your image is already inviting, but it's nice to see this herald of warmer weather.

Thanks! :-) One of the textures is called "Daffodil!"
Snow! Argh! I'm glad spring has arrived here in southeast Pennsylvania.

    Anita,

Greetings. Your image is simply beautiful. Dennis has it, the combination of textures is wonderful and the composition superb. Good show!

(uh, here in Santa Cruz we need to travel to see the snow and it's a real treat when we do... Beach weather this week, where I'll be later in the day ;-) )

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

Thanks! Glad you like it. Beach weather! It is great to live in a country that can encompass so many different types of weather at the same time. :-) Enjoy the beach.

Your floral images are all superb Anita, but his one stands out in my mind. Very nicely executed artistic presentation. Perfect use of the textures and available light. Well done!

Just lovely, Anita! This is your specialty, combining lovely delicate flowers with subtle backgrounds. I really like the composition of the subtle lines of the drawn back petals combined with the bright yellow/orange center.
