They are back. This is the first one of the season for me.
I did some blurring in the background.
    Thanks for looking.

Nice perch, the birds position is lovely and the eye catches it all

Beautiful lighting! On my work computer, it looks a tiny bit soft (could also be my computer screen), but if it is soft, it could use a little bit more sharpening.

One of my favorite birds! Great light, that red eye is very piercing. The bird looks sharp, but the right foot doesn't look as sharp as the rest of the bird. The blur seems to have left you with some strange outlines in the BG--mainly the L upper side and behind the bird's shoulder. Nothing a quick low opacity clone stamp wouldn't fix.

This is a kick butt image, Karl. Lovely angle, perch, light and pose. You nailed this one.

    Thanks Marina.
What I like about this image the most is the mood and emotions it evokes due to the raising humid air from the swampy area around.
It gives you a feeling of serenity in the middle of a bustling city.

Great composition Karl and love that posture the bird has adopted, I think a tad more sharpen would lift this a little more and a little more dof

One of your best images in a while. Very nice feel and mood. Sharp and exposed well and it has a neat studio quality to it. Very nice Karl!
