    Default Goshawk Take-off

    Equipment: Canon 7D and 500mm F4 L lens
    Settings: 1/1600s at F5.6 and ISO 1600
Processing: RAW conversion in LR4 with NR to BG, selective burning of branches and wing, resizing and sharpening in CS6

I know the shadow line on the head takes away a bit, but pretty chuffed with the image seeing it was taken with a Canon 7D at ISO 1600...

Sorry guys! I processed this image a while back, recognized some flaws and reprocessed it today... I mistakenly uploaded the "old" image tonight, so please ignore this thread!

I will post the "new" image tomorrow once my 1440 minute waiting period has lapsed...

Any image of these is a god one imo , rarely see them here as they tend to skulk in the trees unseen,.........great action captured, love the backdrop, but not so keen on the strong blue hue on the back

Hi Phil... Thanks for the thought! But like I have indicated above... This is the wrong image that I uploaded and will upload the correct one tomorrow. Sure you will note from tomorrow's image that the blue hue/cast has been corrected...

You should be able to repost it right here underneath this one WITHOUT the waiting period, as long as you use the same thread.
