Love the wing blur very much, show a sense of motion to the calling pose very well. Very sharp with excellent details and good expose, nice clean background and interesting perch. I would consider crop off the top. An excellent image, TFS.

Hi, I agree- nice sense of motion, but for me the wing and tail blur is just a bit too much. I would like to see the whites a bit less bright. Great separation from the bg, and good head angle and eye contact. Certainly very sharp for 1/500 at that close distance. Well done. Richard

I really like the ***** willow twig as a perch. The colors match perfectly with the bird. Nice detail on the face and good calling pose. The wings are a bit too blurred for me but I do like the overall image and the energy of the bird. Agree with cropping a bit off the top.

This is a gorgeous bird, and the perch is just superb. I wish the bird weren't so centered, and the lifted wing just isn't working for me b/c I find it distracting. I think if you have an image of the bird sitting on this perch, it would work even better than this one, esp if you set the bird a bit to the left of center. Stunning colors.
