    Our largest gull species here in Australia.
    D800, 300 2.8, 1.7TC, f4.8, 1/6400, ISO720, -1/3EC.

    The partial open wing position gives it a nice outlook, the beak is wonderful, i love the exposure on this one
    the BG is so wonderful , i love the composition

    Looks like a big guy, and what a bill it has! Love the BG and the perch. techs look good. The wing position is OK but it would have been alot better with them open wider.

    Background colors are gorgeous and I really like the up swept rock which leads my eye to the gull.

    Nice one greg - I do not think I have ever got a photograph of this species. The full wing stretch position would have pushed this great image up a notch. Love the greenish BG colours.
