    The IQ on the bird looks good. I love the colors and the pose. It looks like something was done to the water in the BG???

    Nice light and sharp detail, like the eye contact and sits in the frame well. I think Nick may just be seeing the oof effect on water ripples and i must admit it does catch my eye a little

    For Nick's sake here is the original image.
    Generally speaking I don't do much to the background (sorrounding) as I select the subject (bird) and do most of the PP. there.
    Of course, exceptions strenghtens the rules.
    From this image you can see I used the top row of focus squeres and moved it from center to the right, making sure that the bird fits in and I have the whole reflection.
    Unfortunately the reflection was not pretty so I decided to not include it.
    No PP was done to this image it is the way it came out of the camera.

    I love the original post however i would say i love the original image it is more powerful in terms of composition.
    i would prefer the original in terms of composition
    Love the details and the colors

    Gorgeous image beautiful lady.Great IQ,very nice colors and composition.
    Love the pose,color scheme,water rings in front of lady and details.
