    Mike:

Elegant pose, good shooting angle, clean bg, well exposed.

Wish I could see the bill a bit better. Is this a natural catchlight?

    Cheers

Very very elegant pose and I love the eye peaking through the feathers. I am fine with the bill as it is, especially because there is a feather behind it that brings the color out. Very artistic image. Well done.

    Wow Mike,

Excellent pose and the fact that you can clearly see the eye makes this image special. The bright beak is wonderful. The gradient of blue to tan/white in the bg is killer too.

Really unique pose, it is over sharpened in my opinion. Nice exposure and clean BG.

Overall a top-notch photo. I especially like the bill and feather correlation. Fine job.

Very elegant, I love all the curves, lines, angles, and overall geometric shapes! I could see a bit more space right and top but this image is highly appealing to me. Very well done

Very powerful image. You were lucky to get a clear eye in this one. Love the mount the tern is standing on b/c it elevates the bird to a positional of 'royalty." (Great title too.) Love the preening pose and the position of the tern and that he has a hold of the feather at almost the tip.
