What a cutie, and you waited for the perfect head angle for this look-back pose. I like the rocky habitat but I'd look into cropping some off the bottom...at leasr enough to rid the "wet" band along the bottom edge. The face appears a tad softer than the body to me, not by much mind you, but enough to notice. The BG is blurred just enough to make the subject pop and let us know that those are also rocks, very good.

Very pretty bird, I like the setting. Agree with Daniel about the crop, face looks sharp to me however. I'd also tone down the rock in the left foreground.

Excellent look-back pose. Love their eye-ring. Daniel nailed all the pointers here. Good job avoiding the dark spots in the BG intersecting the bird!

Hi Chris, good feather detail, good HA, and yes, you managed to show him well enough against the complimentary BG.

Nice pose, HA and habitat surroundings. Exposure looks good the detail looks good too but I do see a need to sharpen the head a little. well done
