    Default Blue-eyed Cat

This lovely cat was born with yellowish eyes that I changed to blue in Nik Viveza. Then I added fractalius glow to the soft fur.

This is really a feral cat that I found lounging next to a feed station in Hawaii. One of the trap and neuter kind I believe, as the cat had the trademark clipped ear. I was surprised to find such a beautiful animal without a home. The fur looked so white, clean and fluffy and the animal was perfectly calm. There was a pond nearby and I was told coots and ducks also like the cat feed station.

Nice work on this, Nancy. Fractalius was a great touch, and I imagine the blue eyes were, as well. The pink skin, white fur, and blue eye look good together.

Do you have Nik's Color Efex Pro as well as Viveza? If so, you might want to try Glamour Glow on the fur to see what you think, although it might not be the look you want.

Thanks, Dennis. Glamour glow is a good idea. I can see using it on the face. I tried soft focus on the fur and decided it did not add anything.

love the clear glow of the eye vs the frac multi texture of the fur. Great shot

Nancy, lovely image, lovely cat. In fact, I'm surprised it hasn't been adopted and is living the life of luxury. Fractalius is perfect and I love the eye color that you chose for her (him?).

I'm a cat person and I love this! It looks so soft and cuddly while the Fractalius work added some spiky, pointy kind of feel. This kitty has a very interesting color scheme, not one that you see very often. I see the eye as a wonderful violet color, blue with a bid of red. Very nice!

Kerry, I actually thought of you when I saw this beautiful cat. Its elegance and unusual colors caught my attention immediately. Now that you mention violet, I see that also. Glad you enjoyed this image!

Very nicely composed image, your idea to change eye to blue, add overall blue, really makes this image. As always the frac on the fur is a keeper.

Thanks, Paul. Fract & fur is like a horse & carriage, they just go together.
