    Taken this morning on my local River Calder,these birds are coming back to the UK to breed,cannon500mm L IS F4,iso800,f8,1/2500s,cropped,sharpened,denoised BG,comments good or bad,thanks for looking.

    Like the preening pose, feet, exposure. Strong sense of the environment. I would be tempted to tone down the bright face of the largest OOF rock in the foreground, so it isn't quite as prominent.

    Good image, well placed in the frame . . . perhaps the body twisting is a bit much . . .
