One of the rarest birds, this is the holy grail....the Ivory-billed Woodpecker.
Photo of Ivory-billed, was taken in the Savannah museum, I masked and copied the image
into an image of giant redwoods from California. Converted to a cartoon using Topaz filter and blurred the edges.
    Thanks

Love the perspective of the trunks & the blurring! People are still looking for that bird (my husband is part of one of the teams)! This latest snowstorm caused us to cancel the grouse trip. We didn't want to take a chance crossing the high prairie in blowing, white-out conditions. No big snow storms predicted for next week so you should be fine. Good luck and let me know what you see.

Paul, what a wonderful dream! I was so hopeful when they thought they had sighted one in Louisiana. Lovely work, lovely dream Good luck with your life list.

I like the colors and the lines. The blur looks good at the top and the lower right, but I wish the vegetation in the lower left were clear.

Very clever, Paul! I really like the colors and lines. However, the lighter area in the upper right is a little distracting to me.
