Got some nice shots of both male and female....I have always found the males much more shy that the females and juveniles

Hi Greg, I like how you have placed the bird in this, and with the open beak following the line of the perch. The honeyeater is nice and sharp showing the finer plumage detail, and the lichen covered perch adds interest. I would clean up the catchlight a touch if you are ok with that.

I like the open beak, tongue, sharpness, mossy perch, soft light, BG and composition. Very well done Greg!

Sweet capture, Greg. Love the open bill and the tongue showing.
    Nice techs too.

Nice image overall with good colours and details. Perch and BG are also both excellent. I agree with tidying up the eye, and there is also a hot spot on the belly that could be looked at in post.

Like the bird, perch, image design, SH, and EXP. In an ideal world his tail would have been above the perch and his head would have been turned fractionally toward you.

I gotta say that there are lots of excellent images here. It is good to see so many Aussies. I have not been here much as I am headed for TX to speak and then on to Holland for a week of tulips and then a week of birds on Texel.
