    Bill,
    What time of day did you make this image?
    It is sharp and the Osprey is looking at the viewer. However the top of the Ospery's head looks over-exposed and under side of the wing looks like some detail was pulled out (if it was nice job) with something like shadow/highlight tool.

    Hi James, Bright sun around 10:06 AM yesterday. Just noticed top of head.

    Hi Bill Very difficult to do much about the top of the head !!! You are photographing the bottom of the bird !!! The best Osprey images are usually when you capture them over the beach Sand does act as a reflector !!!
