Look left and then right!
I found this Snowy Egret hunting in a small pond the other day and belly crawled up on it in the river rocks (ouch!). He/she would stretched it's neck to full extension to get a better view into the water, surveying left and then right. To illustrate this behavior, I blended two images together here with photoshop. C&C welcome.
Really good job of blending! Love how you captured the body language and then put 2 images together to tell more of a story.
You did a very convincing job when you put this together, and it nicely illustrates the behavior you witnessed. Good job on the composition, too.
