Nice looking bird. I like the stepping pose and the FG/BG are very nice as well, Gail.

very nice pose, good exposure and details. the long pink legs are the anchor point of the image. a catch light would have greatly enhanced this one.

What a princess! I like the foot almost touching the water and the tilted down head, almost saying "look at me". Nice detail in the whites.

Exactly what Arash said. You did a great job with the bird...the legs are awesome...wishing for some light in the eye.

    Elegant pose and great legs!
Catchlight noted (easy fix) and maybe just a tad more contrast for me.

Nicely caught moment with the foot just about to enter the water, eye as mentioned would have been nice. They are elegant and at the same time ungainly birds- if that makes sense-. love seeing them each year. hopefully in 4 weeks on a visit to Portugal

These Stilts are so beautiful with their long pink legs, reminds of the Rod Stewart song 'Hot Legs'.

I like the BG where it transition from dark to light, it compliments the subject really well, great job Gail.

Hi Gail, well exposed, dainty pose with the bill following the line of the left leg, and just love the 'tip toe' striding behaviour. Even though Ive seen plenty of these guys over time, this image really shows the length of their legs.
