    Jim:

    Excellent landing pose, feet out, ruffled feathers on chest/neck, angle in the frame. BG a bit busy, but fits where he lives. Crown isn't showing much detail, but I don't know this species well enough to know what to expect.

    Lovely shot, I agree with Randy regarding the BG. That's where he lives, and it's a great reflection of his environment. Sharp where it matters, and motion blur in the right places too. Love those outstretched feet.
    Randy - the crown is basically featureless and is almost always overexposed. That's just how it looks. Jim has nailed the exposure.
