    Default Bald Eagles Perch Too

The morning after a fresh snowfall, we decided to do some land-based photography during Alan Murphy's workshop. This bird chose a great perch and was kind enough to look at me long enough to grab this frame.

Way cool, I especially love the water in the BG with the subtle rippling and tree line reflection. I only wifh it was a "purer" clean adult, but man I would not have hesitated one second in taking this!!

Your perch and environment (rocks) really make this image special, Doug. It's nice to see one of your portraits for a change. :)

Aahh...my favorite- the juvie bald eagle. I love them more that the adults!
Really nice image. Really like the blue BG and the weathered stump- has a real beach feel to it with the round pebbles as well.
It looks like there is some metal? wires on the RHS of canvas on the snow. I would clone this out.
    Vertical comp is perfect.
I really like this one, Doug.

Thanks Gail. Not sure what that stuff is. Probably too remote of a location to be wire. More likely it's some dead seaweed.
