    I used Nik SilverEfex on a layer and revealed the colors of the wings and eye with a mask. C&C welcome

    Nicely done. There's a nice amount of room around the subject, and the revealed colors go well with the antique look from Silver Efex. The curves and diagonals are very effective.

    I love the soft and delicate look you created, with the antique bkgd, the partially revealed colors and the fine details of the butterflies. As I look at it I see the fine hairs on the thorax, the curve of the rolled tongue, the knobs on the antennae, the veins in the wings...and lovely, not-perfect symmetry. Well done!

    Nice one Dan, I like the use of color just on the wings. The bg tone is perfect for those colors too. It has a hand-tinted quality that is quite nice.
