    Default Mexican Sheartail (Doricha eliza)ISO3200

Hello Everyone. I am going through old files and cleaning up the bad ones. I have this series of this beautiful little baby bird that I took with the 1DMKIII in 2011. Many photographers say that I exceeded the capabilities of this camera and I should discard the files. I wonder what you guys think. I did a lot of NR on the BG of course and some on the bird. Comments are welcome.

Well if that was mine it wouldn't go in the bin!
I love that head-dress, what a cracking little bird.
I think you've done a fine job on it - just a tad over-sharpened for my taste.

Lorant...don't listen to these other photographers. Even if 9 out of 10 photographers
say trash an image or whatever...who cares? All that matters is what you think of
    it.

As far as this image, I think it's a keeper. The exposure looks dead on and you have
a great straight ahead head angle. The only thing I'm going back and forth on is the
    length of the perch.

I think it's fine for web viewing. Looks nice to me here, although when zooming in, you can see the loss of detail in heavy noise areas (wings especially). Maybe they meant for a larger print? I rarely print my images, so if you're like me in that regard, don't toss it. :)
