Hi all. I'm going to repost a couple of old images while I get back into the swing of things. The vulture and the sky are both real, the lightning was from a plugin.

The lightning is very well placed and an important element in the image. The halo around it goes so well with the colors in the sky. How did you do that?

I hope your back is getting better.

Wow! The colors are spectacular and the added lightening very dramatic. What is the name of the plug-in? Since I love the sky and bkgd so much, I wonder how the image would look with a somewhat smaller vulture, in about the small place.

Thanks all! The plugin I believe was Alien Skin "Eye Candy" lightning. The filter has an option for the glow color and I sampled it from the sky. Nancy, I like your idea - think I will try it out. Now to find the original files...

    Nice image and application, Kerry.

Agree with Nancy on trying the smaller bird. This is great, but it might make the sky more prominent.

Kerry, I'm glad to see you getting back in the swing of things Great sky and I like the idea of a smaller vulture.

Gorgeous colors, striking lightning (pun intended) and one of my favorite birds. Good job.
