This is really beautiful.
Maybe just a tad lighter but not much.
Pretty dreamy....

Mike:
I agree with Dan, this is very nice. Shows well in my darkened office, but perhaps too dark for lighter areas.
Nice shooting angle, the sky reflection/blue line helps, the lighter area behind the head gives better separation from the BG.
I think it would be even more striking at a larger size.

I'm on my work monitor, but this is gorgeous! So much texture and the light and shooting angle are super sweet.
Nice tones in this one all around, just enough light on the head. Good low angle and the HA is perfect. I love it as presented!
Wonderful Mike! Is that a natural vignette or was in done in post? Either way, I like it as is.
Sweet portrait, very detailed and terrific light. I too like it as it is. It conveys the time of the day very well. Very well done!
I like the low angle, dark feel, calm water, HA and IQ. Excellent image Mike!
Nice work. Love all the subtle colors in this. Pose and shooting angle make for a great capture. Very nice vision.
Absolutely beautiful, the low angle the light have come together to show off this bird to it's very best, what a cracker of a shot - superb print material I'd say!
Dont touch a thing....I very much like the mood in this as is.
Hi Mike, I really like the mood in this, and how the duck seems illuminated from the surrounding BG. I would also like to know if you created a vignette, or this is presentes as shot. No problem either way.
I can see this going a touch brighter (which was my original thought).....but an easy tweak to a fantastic image!!!
Thanks Stuart, the light was natural as the duck swan through the shadows of the trees behind me.
The sun was actually to the left of me and more to the backside of the duck. The water colors were wonderful after he passed and I will probably post on of those at a later date.
Cheers,
Mike
