    Default Yet another Great Kiskadee

On a cloudy morning with 25+mph winds, I decided to go with sturdy perches for my setup.
I had visualized an image with a Golden-Fronted Woodpecker, and thus the V shaped perch and the orange Lantana.
I did have a Golden fronted land exactly where I wanted, but the end result wasn't what I had envisioned.
I did get a few other birds on this setup though.
Definitely not perfect, but this setup taught me quite a few lessons for the next time.

    1/200, f6.3, iso 800, manual flash
    Hide, tripod

Lovely garden scene Sidharth, set up works nicely especially against such a smooth backdrop, really cant see anything worth altering except maybe snip off the top right of the long stem just above the flowers so it fits in the frame with losing the end

You are getting very good at these!
It looks like a fine print in an Audubon book.
I do sort of wish the leaves were not cut off on the right side, but a very minor nitpick.
    A very attractive photo!

You are getting some nice stuff from your setup and this one is very nice too. Good looking pose with a nice HA. Techs look good and the fill flash isnt noticed at all. Great BG and nice perch with the Lantana. Very nice, Again!

Hi Sid, your setups are looking great, and love that the perch stands above the abundance of foliage. The colours on the bird are well exposed, cool semi leaning pose, and I too wish you hadnt cut off the leaves on the RHS. Maybe they extend out too far, and you had no other option for your comp.

Thanks again folks. Appreciate the feedback.

Dan, Stu - I do have a bit more all around. I could add more of the leaves on the right but that would mess up the comp.
Something I need to get right in camera the next time.
